Get Your General Power of Attorney Document

A Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows another person to make decisions and take actions on your behalf. A POA can be used for a variety of purposes, such as giving someone the authority to manage your financial affairs or to make medical decisions on your behalf.

A POA can either be general or specific. A general POA gives the person you appoint (known as your “attorney”) broad powers to act on your behalf, while a specific POA only allows them to take certain actions.

You can appoint more than one attorney, and you can also specify how they are to act – for example, you can require them to act together or independently.
